Basic Principle

It mainly realizes pattern transfer based on the principle of sublimation. Under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the dyes pre-printed on the sublimation paper can directly sublime from a solid state to a gaseous state, and then penetrate into the fibers or surface coatings of the substrate (such as fabric, ceramics, metal, etc.). After cooling, they recondense into a solid state and are firmly attached to the substrate, forming vivid, long-lasting and high-quality patterns.

Characteristics

• Good Ink Absorption: It can absorb sublimation inks quickly and evenly, ensuring a reasonable distribution of ink during printing, avoiding ink stains, smudging and other situations, and guaranteeing the clarity and integrity of the printed patterns.
• High Temperature Resistance: It needs to withstand a certain high temperature during the heat transfer process. Good sublimation paper can maintain stable physical and chemical properties under the corresponding high temperature environment, without deformation, scorching and other problems, ensuring the smooth progress of the transfer.
• Moderate Paper Strength: It should have sufficient strength to adapt to the transmission in printing equipment and subsequent transfer operations, but it should not be too hard to affect its adhesion to the substrate, ensuring close contact so that the dyes can be sublimated and transferred better.
• Appropriate Surface Smoothness: Its surface is relatively smooth, which helps the ink attach and dry better. Meanwhile, it can also fit the substrate more smoothly during transfer, improving the transfer effect.
